1/35 DIORAMA
Depiction of the US 2nd Rangers landing at Pointe-du-Hoc and scaling one of the cliff faces while under fire from the startled German defenders above on the morning of the D-Day landings, June 6th, 1944.
Back of the diorama was created into a relief map of the pointe with distinguishable coastal features along with an aerial map of the area and notable events that took place following the landings.
The base of the diorama involves a heavily used reproduction of an M1A1 Grand ammo belt and jacket garment material to represent that of a Rangers mid-section.
